Q. Can a castle go indoors?
A. Yes, our inflatable's are suitable for indoor use as long as they is enough space.
Q. When can I book/hire a castle?
A. Our castles are available to hire anytime except for Christmas day. We do get very busy during summer, and would advise booking early to avoid disappointment.
Q. Do you require a deposit from us?
A. No, we do not require a deposit from you. And you are free to cancel your booking at anytime, and as long as we have not set off to your venue, they will be no cost to yourself.

Q. Can I cancel the booking & how much will it cost?
A. Yes, you can cancel the booking at any time, and as long as we have not set off to deliver your inflatable, they will be no cost to you.
Q. Do I have to be there when you deliver the inflatable?
A. Yes, you must be present to check the equipment to make sure you are completely happy with it. We will then go through the main health & safety issues with you and point out any hazards. Then we will give you a health & safety/hire agreement sheet which you must read, and if you are completely happy we will ask you to sign a sheet to say you have been given a health & safety/hire agreement sheet and that you accept full responsibility for the equipment hired and users of the equipment.
Q. Do you need anything from us?
A. Yes, please make sure we have plenty of access room, we will need at least a 3 foot wide hall or passageway to be able to move the inflatable's into you hall/garden/venue. We also need access to a mains power point within 50m of the inflatable.
Please also ensure that the site for the inflatable is clear, it must have no sharp objects such as rocks, glass etc, and free of dog mess. If we feel the site is unsuitable then we will not leave the inflatable. Please feel free to contact us for advice.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We accept cash, paid on the day of hire. Or cheque, which will have to be cleared into our bank account before the day of hire, we recommend you send the cheque at least 2 weeks before day of hire.
Q. Do you deliver ?
A. Yes, we do deliver, it is free within a 5 mile radius of anlaby. They will be a small charge for longer distances, i.e. anlaby to hornsea 44 miles round trip, total extra charge £30.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, we have £1,000,000.00 of public liability insurance, this covers accidents & injuries caused by our equipment being faulty or incorrect installation.
Please note, as the hirer YOU are responsible for ensuring adult supervision of the inflatable's at all times.
Beware of companies who offer no insurance at all, or who state that they are fully insured. If in doubt ask for a copy of their policy.
Q. Are they any age limits?
A. Yes, the age limit for the majority of our inflatable's is 14, we do have a small selection for children & adults.
Please note due to the design of the castles & insurance conditions, no adult is allowed to play on the castles stated for 14 years and younger. If we find this to be the case, and the castle is damaged then you as the hirer will be responsible for any & all costs of repair.
Q. What happens if it rains on the day of hire?
A. Most of our bouncy castles come with shower covers, and that is all they are. The bouncy castle is not to be used if it gets too wet as it can be very dangerous. As long as we have not set off to deliver your castle then you may cancel your booking with no cost to yourself.
Q. How much room does a bouncy castle require?
A. It depends on what inflatable you have hired, but as a general rule we recommend at least 2ft space at the back & sides of the castle, and at least 3ft in front, preferably more in front though.
Q. When do you deliver & pick up the castles?
A. Generally we start delivering castles at 8 a.m., we start pick ups at 5 p.m. We are very flexible to your needs, and can work outside of these times. Please note deliveries before 7 a.m. and pick ups after 8 p.m. will incur a small charge, but it will increase your bounce time considerably.
Q. Can we collect the bouncy castles?
A. No, our insurance cover would be invalid if we were to allow you to collect & erect the inflatable's yourself. Your safety is our priority.
Q. How long can I keep the castle?
A. For a ½ day hire you will get at least 3 hours bounce time, for a full day at least 7 hours bounce time, for overnight hire up to 24 hours, and for 2 day hire up to 36 hours bounce time.
Please note that 2 day & overnight hire is subject to meeting suitable security measures and the hirer accepting full responsibility for security of equipment hired.
Also please note that ½ day hire is for morning or afternoon bookings, i.e. 9am - 12noon or 2pm - 5pm, if you require a castle at i.e. 11am for 3 hours we may have to charge you extra as this will prevent us hiring the equipment for another ½ day booking on the same day.
Q. What do we get?
A. You get the inflatable you requested, a ground sheet for the inflatable to sit on, safety mats, a rain cover (depending on the inflatable), an extension lead, a circuit breaker safety plug, and lastly a friendly professional service.
Q. Is your equipment safe?
A. Yes, all our equipment is bought as new, made specifically for us in 2008. It has all been safety checked by the manufacturer and all comply to British standards and Health and safety guide lines.
Q. Are your castles clean?
A. Yes, we maintain our castles to a very high standard. They are cleaned & inspected after every hire.
Q. Do you provide instructions?
A. Yes, we provide safety operating instructions for all of our inflatable's, these must be read by the hirer and/ or a responsible adult who will remain present at the venue.
Q. Can you supervise the inflatable's?
A. Yes, we can provide supervision of the inflatable's, we will charge per person per hour for this service.
Q. How much does it cost to run a bouncy castle?
A. On average it would cost between 50p and £1 in electricity to run a bouncy castle for a full days hire.
Q. Are you a member of any recognized organizations?
A. Yes, we are members of the B.I.H.A. The British Inflatable Hirers Alliance.
Q. Is they anything else we need to know?
A. Yes, when we deliver the inflatable's we will bring a copy of the relevant safety instructions, and a copy of the hiring agreement for your records. Also for insurance purposes we will ask you to sign a copy of the hirers agreement for our records. We may also need to see proof of I.D.
Q. Can we rely on you?
A. Most definitely YES, we will even ring you the night before your hire to confirm everything.
Q. When do you deliver and collect equipment?
A. During Winter, we give you a 1 hour time slot option when you ring to book. However, during our busy Summer period we will ring you 1 or 2 days before delivery to confirm a firm 1 hour delivery and collection slot once we have calculated our route. We will, however, endeavor to fit in the customer if they have any special requests.
